Cantine San Giorgio is an historic winery in the Salento (Apulia) area, founded in 1962 as wine growers cooperative.
The symbol of Cantine San Giorgio is the “Torre Vinaria”, designed by Emilio Sernagiotto, a 21 meters white tower that houses 6 stores of vats, one underground and five above ground, built to allow the wine to withstand thermal shocks in a region characterized by high temperatures in summer.
