October 31st and November 1st – 2nd: Borgo diVino in tour ends its 2025 edition in Venosa (province of Potenza), in Basilicata. In this village with ancient origins, a weekend of tastings of local wines awaits you, such as Aglianico del Vulture DOCG, Matera DOC, Greco Bianco and more, together with gastronomic specialties and live music. A unique opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and its most important points of interest, such as the House of Horace, a patrician domus from the 1st century AD, the fascinating Venosa Castle which also houses the National Archaeological Museum and more.
How it works
Borgo diVino is a free-access event, open to all. Only those who wish to taste the wines present can purchase (online or directly on site) a voucher at a cost of €18 that entitles them to 8 wine tastings of their choice from the wineries present*. The gastronomic specialties can be purchased directly on site. The experience is enriched with an educational path through the alleys and squares of the village for a real journey into viticulture and food-wine pairing.
*a €2 deposit is required for the tasting glass, which will be returned at the end of the tasting tour
