Beviamoci Sud Roma, now in its sixth edition, is an event aimed exclusively at promoting wineries representing the various wine-growing regions of our fascinating South, while also maintaining a high level of quality. It’s a unique opportunity for enthusiasts and industry professionals to taste all the excellent wines of a region that has, since time immemorial, produced great wines with unmistakable personalities, steeped in history, culture, and a unique terroir. Southern Italy, in fact, is an area rich in native grape varieties, diverse terroirs, distinct climates, and winemaking traditions, boasting a natural predilection for the cultivation of indigenous grape varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Gaglioppo, Magliocco, Cesanese, Greco Bianco, Primitivo, Aglianico, Nerello Mascalese, Cannonau, Malvasia Puntinata, Susumaniello, Bombino, Carricante, Fiano, and Falanghina, to name just a few.

These territories have been considered “felix” (happy) for viticulture since ancient times, despite their differences, thanks to the ideal soil, pedoclimate, and geographic location. When we talk about wines from these lands, we also talk about nectars derived from volcanic soils, rich in phosphorus, magnesium, and potassium, which yield mineral wines with unique freshness, complexity, and flavor!

For this new edition, we have chosen a highly prestigious and visually striking venue: the renowned The Westin Excelsior Roma, located at Via Vittorio Veneto 125, the heart of Rome’s Dolce Vita. One of the city’s most iconic hotels, a symbol of elegance and international hospitality, it is often chosen for institutional and high-profile events.

The event will take place in a single, spacious, and elegant room, ensuring perfect usability and an extraordinary overall impression, showcasing each display stand.
