Wine in Venice 2025 dates announced

The second edition, which took place in the majestic halls of the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, has just ended. The organizers are already working on Wine in Venice 2025, which will be held in Venice from January 31 to February 3. The wine festival is part of the calendar of major Venetian events such as the Carnival and the Film Festival. The format has been confirmed, which includes tastings, wine talks, masterclasses, in-depth studies and an exclusive space for the 20 wineries, the true protagonists of the event, selected by an international jury of experts. An event aimed at operators but also at the public of enthusiasts, with a main core of four days.

Wine in Venice was born from the need to tell the story of wine in a different and current way.

The initial idea was to start with virtuous producers, who are already working with a projection towards a different future, who can be an example beyond their size, the number of bottles produced.

Rewarding companies that choose to work inspired by the principles of ethics, sustainability, innovation, with free participation in an event of such importance means talking about wine by changing our cultural and analytical paradigms.

Tastings, masterclasses, wine talks that animate the first red carpet of wine have the aim of coming to propose new points of view, which frame wine production in a broader reflection on our way of being in the world, on the role and importance of managing territories, of respecting the context in which we operate. The focus is shifted to choices that winemakers make with a primary perspective of responsibility.

Wine in Venice 2024 is the event created by Winetales, Beacon, The Media Company and Venezia Unica with the media partnership of Il Gusto of the GEDI group and directed by Luca Ferrua.
