As always at Vinum Alba, protagonists are the great wines of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, offered in an ideal combination with STREET FOOD ËD LANGA, street food of excellent character and quality. The great red wines of the Langhe such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, the white wines of the Langhe, the wines of Monferrato, Roero, Roero Arneis, Gavi and Brachetto, Dolcetto, Asti Spumante, Moscato d’Asti and Alta Langa, as well as the grappa and distillates of Piedmont, are the focus of the tasting sessions scheduled from 10.30 am to 8.00 pm at the tasting tables in the historic centre of the 100 tower city and which, in this edition, are guided and organized by AIS Associazione Italiana Sommelier.

At the Castle of Roddi’s appurtenance , there will be five gastronomic paths prepared by nationally renowned chefs, complemented by a rich selection of the main Piedmontese doc and docg wines “by the glass”, from which participants will be able to choose.
The events are organized in collaboration with Piemonte Land of Wine in order to promote the local food and wine culture at national and international level.
VINUMINCANTINA – FOOD&WINE EXPERIENCE is an experience conceived to meet the needs of wine tourists and gourmets.
With VINUMINCANTINA you have the opportunity to visit some of the most important wineries of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato selected by some great master Chefs who, at the end of the tour, will prepare a special aperitif with the wine of the hosting company. The experience includes a round-trip shuttle service from Alba.
The Courtyard of La Maddalena hosts an interesting novelty: Vinum Lab. In the Sala Beppe Fenoglio there will be thematic workshops on the world of wine and insights on the Piedmontese native vines.
Workshop on cheese and wines provided by ONAF (the national organization of cheese tasters) and wine tastings guided by a sommelier.
A sensory experience with guided tasting of fresh cheese, blue-veined cheese and ripened cheese combined with some great local wines. A meeting where knowledge becomes a pleasure.
