Vino al Vino

The 29th edition of the “Vino al Vino” wine festival returns to Panzano in Chianti from 15 to 17 September 2023. The area known for its Conca d’oro is located in the municipality of Greve in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico. In these three days, Piazza di Panzano is transformed for this important event, leaving room for stands, behind which the 23 producers of the Panzano Bio District are located every year, happy to let visitors taste their wines.

Here we are in the Florentine part of the Chianti Classico, a highly suitable area that gives rise to high quality wines, the companies have vineyards at an altitude ranging from 350 to 500 meters above sea level.

In tasting various types of Chianti Classico, such as Vintage, Reserve, Gran Selezione, but also some IGT labels and various vintages. In addition to tasting and keeping with the producers, it is also possible to buy the wines directly at the stand of the Unione Viticoltori di Panzano in Chianti. Personally I have participated only once in this beautiful event, I would recommend it to all friends of Dionysus. The Piazza is not large in size, but you can navigate between one stand and another without problems, the wines that you can taste are great, produced in a splendid part of Tuscany a few km from Florence and towards the Siena.
