Radici del Sud

Radici del Sud will be held from 5 to 10 June 2024 at the Sannicandro Castle in Bari (10 JUNE IS THE ONLY DAY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC) and will also be dedicated this year to wines from native vines and virgin and extra virgin oils of southern Italy.

Radici Del Sud is a multi-event that takes place over several days, some dedicated to the sessions of the competition between all the wines of the South divided by grape variety (8-9 June), and others dedicated to B2B meetings between buyers and importers with wine and olive producers (8-9 June).

The great event which celebrates and rewards the best native wines of the south concludes with the exhibition open to the public on Monday 10 June 2024.

From 11.00 to 12.30 on Monday 10 June at the Castello di Sannicandro in Bari, during the final conference the best wines from Southern Italy will be awarded.

From 3.00 pm to 9.00 pm on Monday 10 June the Southern wine and oil exhibition will remain open: visitors will be able to learn about the different productions of the Catine and participating oil mills. At the tasting stands (click here for the list of exhibitors) they will have the opportunity to speak directly with the producer and find out in depth about the characteristics and qualities of the labels being tasted. From 9.00pm – 12.00am the area adjacent to the salon will reopen which will give the opportunity to freely test the approximately 80 winning wines of the 2024 edition. At the same time, dishes and pizzas made by Apulian chefs and pizza chefs will be served as a buffet (here is the list of chefs and pizza chefs and ticket info). (€20)

3.00pm – 9.00pm OPENING TO THE PUBLIC OF THE SALON OF THE WINES AND OILS OF SOUTHERN ITALY – Tasting stands with the producer and exhibitors in the food area (List of exhibitors).
