Mare & Mosto: the wine and oil of Liguria on display on 21 and 22 May 2023 in Sestri Levante

Le Vigne Sospese is the event dedicated to Ligurian wine and oil. The appointment is May 21 and 22, 2023 in Sestri Levante (Genoa) in the setting of the former Convent of the Annunziata which overlooks the scenic Baia del Silenzio. In particular, it will be possible to get to know and taste the labels of about 100 producers. Furthermore, the food area overlooking the sea will offer visitors typical Ligurian gastronomic preparations.

“Mare&Mosto – Le Vigne Sospese” was born from the collaboration between Ais Liguria, the Municipality of Sestri Levante and the Liguria Region and this year has reached its eighth edition.
It will be held on 21 and 22 May 2023 in Sestri Levante in the setting of the former Convento dell’Annunziata, a convent built in the mid-1400s by the Dominican fathers and overlooking the enchanting Baia del Silenzio.

The program of this two-day event dedicated to Ligurian wine and oil foresees, as usual, the presence of about one hundred producers to represent the eight regional denominations, a significant presence of extra virgin olive oil producers with their production of DOP oil Ligurian Riviera and a food area overlooking the sea that will offer visitors typical Ligurian gastronomic preparations.
The presence of a Consortium as a guest extra-regional winemaking reality will certainly contribute to making the event even more interesting.

In keeping with past editions, which saw the presence of important technical partners such as Nomacorc, Garbellotto, Clayver, Simonit and Sirch, and Antica Fornace di Montecchio, Mare&Mosto will once again offer exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to get to know a another important fact.

Mare&Mosto will also be the stage on which the competitors for the title of Best Sommelier of Liguria 2023 will compete: a competition that aims to reward the best communicator of wine and the territory of Liguria who by right will be able to access the national semifinals for the Best Sommelier of Italy.
