Dates and times: Thursday 3 July Preview 19:00-01:00. Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July 2025
Where: Castro (Lecce). The location is breathtaking. The ancient village is located on the acropolis that dominates the surrounding bay, on the Canale d’Otranto. The tasting route winds for more than half a kilometer and accompanies the visitor to discover the panoramic viewpoint of Piazza Perotti, the courtyards of the Aragonese Castle and its terraces overlooking the sea and then Piazza Vittoria, the former Cathedral, the Bishopric, the area of ​​the Archaeological Park and the ruins of the Temple of Minerva
What it is: wine festival and food and wine event now in its 9th edition

Castro Wine Fest 2025 Preview Program
Tasting at the tasting tables: from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am, with ticket (limited to 600 tickets).
Tastings guided by experts: 1) Tasting of 3 Apulian rosé wines guided by Monica Coluccia, paired with traditional Salento dishes (6 one-hour sessions of 25 people) tasting and sensory analysis and 2) Tasting of 3 Apulian red wines guided by Enzo Scivetti, paired with traditional Salento dishes (6 one-hour sessions of 25 people, from 7:00 pm to 12:00 am).
Guided tours: from 7:00 pm to 12:00 am, guided tours of the historic center and archaeological area of ​​Castro.

Music and entertainment:

Piano recital: from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, with pianist Maria Elena Bellimbeni
Astronomical observatory: from 9:00 pm to 12:00 am, with the Astrofili Salentini group
Show cooking: from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am, with master pastry chefs Giuseppe Zippo and Giovanni Venneri and tasting of liqueurs, grappas and artisanal spirits
Concert: from 9:30 pm to 10:00 pm, Vincenzo De Nitto’s accordion trio with violin and cello will meet Argentine tango masters Valentina Guglielmi and Michele Padovano.
Live music: from 10:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with the swing of Crazy Roll Band, while from 11:00 pm to 1:00 am, with the blues of I Laureati Blues Band
