Brda&Collio Wine Festival

You are invited to the premiere of the new Brda&Collio wine festival, the likes of which have never been seen before in Slovenia and the surrounding area. The event itself will be attended by 50+ wine houses, both from Goriška Brda and wine houses from Collio (Italy).

Vinoteka Brda d. o. o. was established in the middle of 2000. The idea of a sales and promotion centre was supported by the municipality of Brda and a large part of the most important Brda winemakers, the choice of the cellar premises of the castle at Dobrovem was self-evident at that time, we overgrown these premises and therefore we decided to move the new premises to the beautiful medieval village of Šmartno.   In the shelter of thick stone walls and protective towers that surround the medieval village of Šmartno, we found the right conditions for respectful acquaintance with wine as a drink, which speaks to us about tradition, about the attachment of people to this land, about the knowledge of how to use natural resources to produce exceptional wines.
We have an impressive number of local winemakers on our wine list, which gives us an extremely wide wine offer for our guests, so with the friendly help of our staff, everyone will find the most suitable wine for their soul.   In Vinoteka Brda we have collected the best Brda has to offer, to which we have added a careful selection of Slovenian boutique producers of cheeses and meat products, so that getting to know the wine-growing region of Goriška Brda quickly turns into a unique culinary experience.
