BORDEAUX WINE FESTIVAL

Every year, the Bordeaux Wine Festival welcomes tall ships to the quayside. The Belem, El Galeón and Santa Maria Manuela are just some of the legendary ships that dock at the Port de la Lune. In 2024, new sailing ships will be present, more information to come.

From Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 June 2024, let’s meet on Bordeaux’s quays to taste and discover the great diversity of Bordeaux and other regional wines. Each year, the Bordeaux Wine Festival recreates the mythical Wine Route, a journey through the vineyards where no less than 80 appellations are represented. Along the quays of the Garonne, winegrowers and merchants welcome you to the appellations pavilions for convivial tasting stops between white, red, rosé, clairet and crémant…

The Appellations Village

The tasting route and its village of appellations represent the heart of the Wine Festival. The 9 pavilions reveal the richness and diversity of the wines on offer. For wine lovers and the simply curious, it’s a chance to discover the world of wine by tasting different wines from Bordeaux and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

Reds, whites, rosés, clairets and crémants, wine is present in all its forms at the Bordeaux Wine Festival! It’s a great way to experience and celebrate the world of wine while enjoying the start of summer.

Tastings and discussions

The Village des Appellations and its pavilions are convivial places where curious wine-lovers and connoisseurs can meet passionate producers and merchants ready to reveal a few of their trade secrets. In each pavilion, winegrowers and winemakers are waiting to tell you all about their trade, their wines and their history!
